11:15pm 900 Blk Geneva Resisting Arrest
Several calls came in to dispatch about an aggressive man, “screaming,
yelling, and chasing passersby’s”. Ingleside Officers Hoge and Wells were the
first of many units assigned to the call to arrive on scene. They found the
suspect walking eastbound on Geneva. As he passed a nearby restaurant he
stopped and kicked over an advertising sign. The officers told the suspect to
stop so they could talk to him. Instead, he balled up his fists, and got in
fighting stance and challenged the officers to fight him. Ingleside Officer
Wells, declined his request, and was quickly able to subdue the suspect and
place him in custody. Report number: 160392983
