1:53pm 4700 Blk Mission Warrants
Ingleside Officers Hopkins and Parker were on routine patrol
when they noticed a man standing in the doorway of a liquor store smoking a
cigarette. The officers were keenly aware, as are all Ingleside officers, that
many subjects loitering in the area are involved with all kinds of violent
crimes. The officers stopped to talk to the man who readily provided his name.
A computer check revealed several outstanding felony warrants. He also had a
significant quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana in his pockets. He was
taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the warrants and the narcotics.

10:26pm Putnam/Jarboe Hit & Run
Ingleside Officers Neary and Zhao were on routine patrol when
they spotted white Ford Crown Victoria, with no rear license plate, driving
north on Putnam, near Jarboe. The officers turned on their emergency lights and
siren in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but the driver ignored the officer’s
attempts and sped away. The chase continued through the neighborhood and into
the Farmer’s Market area where the car collided with a metal pole. The driver
exited the vehicle and ran away into the bushes but was caught and arrested a
