Arrests:

9:10am       200 Blk Still                            Recovered Vehicle
A man sitting low in a parked SUV caught the attention of Ingleside Sergeant Kumli who was driving by in his patrol car. The suspicious occupant quickly averted his eyes and sunk lower in the seat. Sergeant Kumli made a U-turn and came back to the scene now finding the occupant out of the car and standing on the corner of La Martine and Still Streets. He told the Sergeant he lived around the corner on Alemany Boulevard and admitted to being arrested before. The Sergeant, while talking to the man, noticed a woman walking over to a parked Hyundai nearby and placing some property in the trunk. She then walked away down La Martine toward Cayuga now joined by the man Sergeant Kumli was talking to. Sergeant Kumli left the scene and decided to run the license plate of the Hyundai which turned out to be stolen. He then broadcast a description of the two suspects and decided to travel to the 1300 Block of Alemany where there is an exit from La Martine Park. It was a good move as the two suspects emerged from the park and were quickly placed into custody. A search of the suspects revealed a quantity of prescription narcotics along with some methamphetamine. They were booked at Ingleside Station for narcotics and other crimes. Report number: 160381657

Without warning the suspect struck the victim several times in the head and torso with a wooden weapon. He said other suspects were there with the man assaulting him, but they didn’t hit him. The victim ran away to his parked car and drove to Ingleside Station to report the crime. Report number: 160389485
