09:30am 4000 Blk Folsom Hot Prowl Burglary
In February, a woman returned home and found her front door
forced open. She went upstairs and discovered an unknown man rifling through
her jewelry boxes and chest of drawers. When the burglar saw the homeowner he
pushed her out of the way and ran out of the home with her property to a
waiting Mercedes that sped away. On Wednesday of this week, a snapshot of a surveillance
video was shown to the burglary victim who positively identified the suspect.
On Thursday, April 28th, Ingleside Sgt Dalton went to the Hall of Justice to
serve an arrest warrant for the suspect who was appearing in court on three
other cases. The judge approved the charges and the suspect was remanded into
custody for burglary, robbery, and other charges. Report number: 160114969

8:30am 1100 Blk Cayuga Aggravated Assault
A Balboa High Student told a school officer that a man had
confronted him with a gun across from the campus. The
student said the suspect was driving a Honda that cut him off while he was
driving to school. The victim said after he parked his car the suspect and him
got into an argument over the incident with the suspect showing him a firearm
in a threatening manner. The suspect then drove away. Report number: 160346758
7:01pm Goettingen/Harkness Aggravated
Assault
Ingleside Officers Wise and Snadow, along with several other
Ingleside units as well as officers from Bayview and Mission Stations, were
dispatched to the intersection of Goettingen and Harkness after several reports
of gunshots. When they arrived they found multiple shell casings and broken
vehicle glass in the street. Witnesses told the officers that occupants of dark
colored four door sedan exchanged gunfire with the occupants of a black SUV.
Soon dispatch alerted officers that a female gunshot victim had just arrived at
San Francisco General Hospital and was in the intensive care in critical
condition. Sheriff’s deputies at the hospital reported the victim arrived in a
late model SUV with numerous bullet holes in the window. The case
has been assigned to the Department’s major crimes task force. Report number:
