10:00pm Unit Blk Conrad Hot Prowl Burglary
A painting project turned out to be an unintended invitation
for a burglar. The victim told Ingleside Officer Morgante that he had just
finished painting his garage for the evening and decided to leave the garage
door open about six inches to let the paint dry overnight. He cleaned up and
walked up the stairs to his third floor bedroom going to sleep for the evening.
When he awoke the next morning he found the garage door open halfway and
several tools missing from inside. The victim told Officer Morgante that he nor
his wife and two year old son heard any suspicious noises the prior evening.
