Valencia Robbery
A woman working at a medical office heard a woman scream and
noticed a man running down the street with a brown paper bag under his arm. The
witness called police and Ingleside Officers Burke and Lewis arrived within
minutes. They found a victim near her parked vehicle. She told Burke and Lewis
that she had just filled a three month supply of medication at a nearby
pharmacy and was walking back to her car when she was shoved from behind by an
unknown suspect. The man reached into her handbag and stole the medication
along with approximately $1300 in cash. She declined medical attention. Burke
and Lewis canvassed the nearby area for witnesses and evidence without success.
