When the weaving driver traveled onto the shoulder the witness dialed “911”. Shortly after completing the call, he noticed the driver swerve off the roadway and up a dirt hill and collided with a pole. Emergency vehicles soon arrived and extracted the driver from her car. Ingleside Officers Cuenca and Smith contacted the driver and immediately noticed she had watery and bloodshot eyes and her breath had the strong odor of alcohol. The driver was taken by ambulance to San Francisco General Hospital where a blood test was administered. She was cited at the hospital for D.U.I and remained there for treatment of her injuries. Report number: 16022263Serious Incidents:2:12am Justin/Genebern EvadingIngleside Officers McMilton and Sandoval observed the driver of an older Ford Taurus make several illegal turns. The officers activated their emergency lights and pulled the vehicle over. The officers asked the driver for his license and his vehicle’s registration and insurance. The driver provided a valid license but said he just bought the car and he didn’t have any other required paperwork with him. The officers went back to their patrol car and ran a records check on the driver. He turned out to have a two “no bail” warrants out of San Mateo County and a $7,500 warrant from San Francisco for a narcotics violation. The officers asked for assistance and then walked back to the vehicle and told the driver to turn off his vehicle. Instead of obeying the officer’s commands, the driver put the vehicle in gear and sped off at a high rate of speed. The officers chased the vehicle for short time but terminated the chase in the interest of citizen safety.
