On this day Officers Archilla and Fabela noticed two men, standing at the bus stop, exchange money for drugs. The officers stopped and exited their patrol car. Officer Fabela talked to the potential buyer at the bus stop while also Archilla chased after the seller as he walked away southbound on Mission street. The buyer told Fabela that he arranged to meet the seller at the intersection to purchase some marijuana. When he and the seller saw the passing police vehicle they cancelled the transaction. The seller had a significant amount of marijuana on his person. He was cited for possession for sale and released at the scene. Report number: 1602075141:42pm Mission/Leo Warrant ArrestIngleside Officers Lewis and Kumli were on routine patrol when they spotted two men hiding in a doorway near Leo and Mission Streets. One of the men was holding a glass pipe and smoking a substance. The officers stopped and watched as the man with the pipe handed it to his companion. Both officers exited their patrol car and told the men to stand in place. The officers asked to see the pipe in one of the suspect’s pocket. He handed them the still warm pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. A computer check revealed the companion had no warrants and was released. The other suspect had a warrant for his arrest and the officers told him he was going to be placed in custody. The suspect became verbally abusive and refused to obey the officer’s commands to stand still. When the officers attempted to place him in handcuffs he violently resisted and Lewis and Sgt Kumli, along with Ingleside Officers Trail and Nasser, struggled for a few minutes before they were finally able to place him in custody. He was taken to Ingleside Station and charged with resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and the outstanding warrant.
