A patron at a tavern got into an argument with another man.
One of the bar’s armed security guard told the two to separate and calm down or
they would be escorted out of the establishment. One of the patrons became
belligerent and the security guard, along with a colleague, started escorting
the suspect out of the establishment. As they neared the door, the patron
became belligerent and tried to wrestle one of the security guard’s weapon from
his holster. There was a struggle that finally ended when the guard was able to
use his pepper spray on the suspect. The patron was escorted out of the bar and
held until Ingleside Officers Hackard and Tweedy arrived to place him in
custody. Report number: 160108069
