One of the bar’s armed security guard told the two to separate and calm down or they would be escorted out of the establishment. One of the patrons became belligerent and the security guard, along with a colleague, started escorting the suspect out of the establishment. As they neared the door, the patron became belligerent and tried to wrestle one of the security guard’s weapon from his holster. There was a struggle that finally ended when the guard was able to use his pepper spray on the suspect. The patron was escorted out of the bar and held until Ingleside Officers Hackard and Tweedy arrived to place him in custody. Report number: 160108069Serious Incidents:1:32pm Unit Blk Mateo Hot Prowl BurglaryA woman was sitting at her desk looking out her backyard window when she saw a man jump over her fence into her backyard and then over another fence into a neighbor’s yard. For an unknown reason she didn’t call police. About an hour later she heard unusual noises coming from her bathroom window. She went to investigate and saw the same suspect open the bathroom window, stick his head inside and smiled at her before jumping over the fence and back onto Bemis Street. The woman told Ingleside Officers Ocreto and Zasly that she was frightened for her life, especially after she realized that her bathroom window was unlocked. Report number: 1601066213:20pm 100 Blk Peru Hot Prowl BurglaryA man was home taking a shower in the bathroom when he noticed a light go on in his bedroom. Thinking it was a family member he continued bathing until he heard unusual noises coming from the bedroom. He quickly exited the shower, put on some clothes, and heard an unknown man hurriedly leaving his bedroom. He saw that several drawers were open in the bedroom and an IPhone missing from his dresser. Other bedrooms in the home were also ransacked with several items stolen. Ingleside Officers Hopkins and Pacchetti responded and found the window screen missing and the blinds damaged in one bedroom.
