2:30am       Russia/Madrid              Robbery
Ingleside Sgt. O’Connor and Officer Sullivan were on patrol when they were flagged down by a man who said he had just been robbed and pointed to a fleeing vehicle on Madrid Street. The officers radioed for assistance and then began pursuing the vehicle as it traveled throughout the neighborhood.  They abandoned the vehicle near Santos and Sunnydale and the occupants scattered in all directions. Sgt. O’Connor and Sullivan discovered identifications and other items, including a cell phone, belonging to the occupants and others inside the vehicle. The officers used this information to apprehend one of the occupants who was wanted for failing to appear at a San Jose court hearing, She was taken to the County Jail and booked for the warrant while the robbery investigation continues for this event and one that occurred shortly before on Mission and Russia, involving a man and woman possibly driving the same vehicle. Ingleside Officers Seavey, Barajas, and Padilla were on routine patrol when they spotted a wanted felon driving a stolen vehicle. The officers pursued the vehicle down Seville then eastbound on Rolph to South Hill where they terminated the pursuit out of concern for public safety. Report number: 150456646
