Blk Curtis Aggravated Assault
When Ingleside officers Franceschi and Lee arrived at the
address on Curtis they found a distraught woman exiting the home holding her
arm. Both officers were responding to a call of an assault. The victim told the
officers that she had gotten into a verbal altercation with another woman at
the address about child care issues. After some pushing and shoving, the pair
separated and the victim walked out of the residence only to be followed by the
suspect holding a hammer. The suspect swung the hammer at the victim with the
tool colliding with her arm. The suspect then took off and Ingleside officers
Peregrina and Khan found and arrested her at Curtis and Rolph Streets. She was
taken to Ingleside Station and booked for aggravated assault and an outstanding
warrant. The victim was treated at the scene for her injuries. Report number:
