Arrests:

4:00am       28th/Diamond                         Aggravated Assault
Ingleside officers Bernal and DeFilippo were flagged down by two men who pointed out a third man lying on the sidewalk with a bullet wound in his neck. The officers rendered first aid and called for an ambulance and additional officers to help investigate the incident. The two witnesses told the officers that they were drinking earlier that evening with the wounded man and a woman friend and were on their way home when unknown assailants in a passing car fired one shot and wounded the victim. But the officers were skeptical since the initial report of a gunshot was at a different location and there was no blood trail to the location of the wounded victim. Because of the inconsistencies the officers asked and received permission to enter the victim and witnesses apartment where they found fresh blood stains. Further interviews resulted in the confession that one of the three man was playing with a firearm in the apartment when it accidentally discharged wounding the victim. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked on weapons and aggravated assault violations. Report number: 150094105

10:44pm     600 Blk Athens                       Stolen Vehicle
Ingleside officers Lucia and Hackard were on routine patrol, driving on Athens street near the intersection of Paris, when they were passed by a 2014 Nissan Sentra with a large dent in the driver’s door. The officers ran the plate through the onboard Automated License Plate Reader which revealed the car was stolen from a rental car agency. The officers trailed the car while radioing for backup and soon pulled the vehicle over on Athens street when the driver pulled into his home’s driveway. The driver was removed and arrested for car theft. A records check revealed he was on parole from a crime in Solano County and had two outstanding warrants for his arrest from Daly City and San Francisco. Serious Incidents:

7:30am       Unit Blk Amethyst                 Robbery
Ingleside officers Sabella and O’Leary, along with several other Ingleside units, were dispatched to a report of a home invasion robbery. The male occupant of the home said he was in the house with his wife when he heard the doorbell ring. He looked outside and didn’t see anyone so he closed the door. When he walked upstairs to his home office he was knocked to the ground by two suspects who asked, “where is the safe”? The suspect then pushed him into the bedroom where his wife was lying in bed. The suspects then rifled through all the drawers and closets searching for valuables and taking wallets and computer equipment before grabbing the car keys and driving the family vehicle through the closed garage door and escaping. The male victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The officers determined the robbers entered the home through an unlocked back sliding door. The Ingleside Station Investigative Team has been assigned to the case. Report number:150094230

A man walked into Ingleside Station to report a carjacking. The victim told Ingleside officer Hoge that he was parked at San Jose and Geneva when a man he knew got into his car and demanded he surrender the vehicle threatening him with physical harm. He told the victim to leave his cell phone in the car and get out. The suspect then started the car and drove away. The victim told Officer Hoge that the carjacking may be in response to a debt owed a friend of the carjacker. Report number: 150096208
