Arrests:

7:58am       Congo/Joost                            Stolen Vehicle
A car thief confessed to Ingleside Officer Morrow that his life is stuck in a felony rut. Morrow was on routine patrol when he spotted a car, with all the window’s fogged up, parked in a crosswalk at Congo and Joost Streets. A computer check of the license plates revealed it was stolen out San Mateo County. Officer Morrow opened the unlocked door and found the driver sleeping in the front seat. Morrow asked what he was doing, and the car thief said, “I was just trying to sleep a minute”. At that time, Ingleside Officers Jackson and Muro arrived to help with the arrest. The car thief wasn’t finished with his confession. He told officer Morrow, “I don’t want to go back to jail”, to which Morrow replied, “That’s what’s likely going to happen”, to which the thief responded, “I keep getting caught. I’m not very good at this. I was just arrested less than a month ago for stealing a car.” He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for car theft and possession of burglary tools. Report number: 150088017

12:04pm     Unit Blk Agnon                       Stolen Motorcycle
Ingleside Officers Coulter and Archilla were on routine patrol when they spotted a man pushing a motorcycle out of a residence on Mission Street where previous arrests have been made for gambling and narcotics violations. Coulter and Archilla watched as the motorcyclist started his vehicle and drove off through the nearby neighborhood. A computer check revealed that the motorcycle was stolen earlier in San Francisco. The officers activated their emergency lights and siren and the cyclist pulled over on the unit block of Agnon. He was arrested for vehicle theft and driving a motorcycle without a proper endorsement.  Report number: 141022248
