Blk London Narcotics Paraphernalia
A call came in of a “Man with a gun” at San Jose and Ocean
Avenues. Numerous Ingleside units responded including Officers Chew and Trail.
They found the caller, who told them that he called “911” after two men
approached him and tried to remove the contents of his backpack. He believed
both men had a gun. He said the suspects escaped by boarding a #49 MUNI bus.
Chew and Trail took off on a search for the bus. They soon found it stopped at
Mission and Brazil but the suspects were not on board. The officers started
searching the neighborhood and found both suspects On the 300 block of London
Street. One of the suspects had a backpack containing a significant quantity of
marijuana along with a scale for weighing and selling the substance. The
suspects were cited for possession of drug and drug paraphernalia and the scale
found in a backpack. One of the suspects also had a no bail warrant for his
arrest and was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center for booking. The
other suspect was cited for the narcotics violations and released. No weapons
