A woman on her way to the BART station was the victim of a
sexual battery. The woman told Ingleside Officers Calupad and Carrasco, along
with BART Officer Lorente, that she had just exited the #29 MUNI bus when she
noticed a man walking near her. As she continued on her way she felt a slap on
her buttocks and turned around and yelled “Don’t touch me”. She then ran into
the station and told the station agent what happened. He called BART police and
Officer Lorente arrived and detained the suspect who was sitting on a bench
outside the station. Officers Calupad and Carrasco cited the suspect for
misdemeanor battery and released him after he promised to appear in court.

Assault
A call went out of “Shots fired” in the area of Leland and
Peabody and numerous Ingleside units responded and found several shell casings
in the street and an older model Toyota Tercel with several bullet holes. While
the investigative team was scouring the crime scene a call came in that a
gunshot victim had walked into the emergency room at San Francisco General
Hospital. The victim said he was standing near the vehicle when he heard
gunshots, crouched down, and was hit in the upper leg by a bullet. The
Ingleside Station Investigative Team and the Gang Task Force continues to
