Arrests:

5:00pm       Unit Blk San Gabriel        Concealed Weapon
A Daly City Police Department investigation led to the arrest of a man by Ingleside Station officers who had the bad luck to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Daly City officers, while preparing to conduct a search of a residence, noticed an older Black Mercedes pull up in front of the home. One of the three occupants of the Mercedes after exiting the vehicle with a black satchel, walked up to the front door of the home and was ready to enter when the Daly City search team started their entrance to the home. The suspect dropped the satchel and attempted to run away only to be detained by the Daly City officers who called San Francisco Police for assistance. Ingleside Officers Quintero and Lustenberger arrived within in minutes and placed the suspect in handcuffs after discovering that the satchel contained a .22 caliber firearm, several magazines and ammunition. The suspect gave conflicting information about how he came into possession of the unregistered firearm. A computer check revealed he was wanted on a misdemeanor San Francisco warrant. A search of two residences where he occasionally stayed turned up significantly more ammunition. The suspect was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the outstanding warrant and for illegal possession of a concealed weapon. Report number: 150126601

Serious Incidents:

8:00am       Unit Blk Winfield             Hot Prowl Burglary
A couple returned home from a late night out and awoke the next morning noticing they were victims of a burglary. The couple told Ingleside Sgt Inocencio that the burglar probably entered through a possibly unlocked back door and quietly stole wallets, keys, jewelry, a passport, social security card, and cell phones, in different rooms of the home, without waking them. Report number: 150130414

12:00 noon 100 Blk  Teddy                   Hot Prowl Burglary
A woman returned home to find the front door of her residence forced open and many valuables missing. She told Ingleside Officers Tillan and Ng that the burglars stole an Ipad, three gold rings, two gold necklaces, a jeweled lighter, and a laptop. A downstairs resident of the home told the officers that he earlier heard a loud “bang” and went to investigate the noise only to see the burglars running down the front steps and toward a waiting vehicle which quickly sped away. Report number: 150126009
