Blk Ripley Drugs
A parked vehicle facing the wrong way on the sidewalk caught
the attention of Ingleside Officers Cahill and Campos. The officers approached
the car and found that, in addition to being parked illegally, it had also
collided with a fence. Cahill and Campos found the owner crouched at the front
of the car attempting to attach a tow rope to the vehicle. The officers also
noticed the unmistaken smell of unburned marijuana coming from inside the car.
When the owner stood up the officers noticed two knives in his belt. After a
search of his clothing they also discovered two additional knives in his pants
pockets. A search of the illegally parked vehicle turned up a significant
quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana bundled for sale along with
approximately $800 in cash. The suspect was taken to Ingleside Station and
booked on various narcotics charges. Report number: 15009636
