10:50pm Mission/Excelsior D.U.I
Ingleside Sgt. Smith was on routine patrol when he spotted
an older Honda with expired registration. Sgt. Smith, along with the recently
arrived Ingleside Officers Bernal and Bautista pulled over the Honda and asked
the driver for license, registration and Insurance. Sgt. Smith noticed the
strong smell of alcohol on the driver’s breath. A records check revealed that
the driver was on probation for previous D.U.I convictions. He was asked to
perform several roadside sobriety tests which he failed. At Mission Station he
was given a breath alcohol test which revealed a blood alcohol amount of .112%,
far above the .08 legal limit. The suspect was taken to the county jail and

Serious Incidents
1:10am Foote/Ellington Robbery
Ingleside Officers Francheschi and Casey were dispatched to
an address in Daly City to investigate a robbery that had occurred earlier at
Foote and Ellington Streets. At that address they met with the robbery victim
who told the officers that he was walking to his car when a minivan pulled up
next to him and two men got out, one of them holding a handgun. The robbers
took a wedding band, a wallet with $600 in cash, a black cell phone, and a
backpack the latter item after a struggle where the victim was injured. Report
