Arrests:

4:33pm       Mission/Geneva            False Identification
Officers Peregoy, Trail, Hopkins and Uang were patrolling the area of Mission and Geneva when they were flagged down by several uniformed MUNI transit authority inspectors. They informed the officers that they were conducting fare evasion checks in the area and came across a passenger on a Muni bus, which was clearly in violation of a fare evasion. The passenger was being uncooperative and refused to provide the inspectors with her information. The officers went to speak with the passenger, who continued to be uncooperative and provided them with several different names. Officer Trail made numerous computer inquiries and was unable to find any information matching any of the names given. The officers determined the passenger was not being truthful and could possibly be covering a warrant for her arrest, therefore placed her under arrest and transported her to Ingleside station. Once at the station and after further investigation, the officers were able to obtain her true identity. The passenger was cited for providing false identification to a peace officer as well as the MTA MUNI citation for the fare evasion. Report Number 130058397.

Three suspects approached him asking for money, but the victim refused to give up his property. One of the suspects then took out a handgun and started pointing it at the victim. The victim fearing for his safety, raised both hands, when the suspect fired a shot striking the victim in his left hand. The Suspects then fled the scene on foot towards an unknown direction.  Officers Tam and Cassinelli responded on a report of a robbery with a gun. Upon arrival, the officers interviewed the victim who said as she was parking her car on the 600 block of Ellsworth, she saw a male suspect approaching her vehicle. The victim proceeded to get out of her car and started to cross the street to her home when the suspect walked off the sidewalk and began to follow her. The suspect then took out a semiautomatic handgun and started asking for victim’s purse. The victim refused to give up her property and started to run towards her house. The suspect ran after her and tried to snatch her purse, as the victim started to yell and attempted to call 911 from her cell phone. The suspect let go of her purse and tried to grab her cell phone instead. As the struggle continued the cell phone fell to the ground. The suspect picked up the cell phone and ran northbound Ellsworth St and turned onto westbound Ogden St. A witness observed the suspect jump into a vehicle which was parked in her driveway.
