Arrests:

11:59am     San Bruno/Teddy                      Robbery Arrest
Officers Chang and Park went to investigate a robbery that just occurred. While en-route, dispatch advised that a witness to the incident just saw the three female suspects flee towards Wabash Terrace and San Bruno Avenue.
Several Ingleside units responded to the area searching for the suspects. Officers Trail and Peregoy spotted one suspect matching the clothing description getting off a Muni bus at San Bruno and Ordway Street. They quickly detained her. While Officers Pereira and Officer Coles stopped the same bus a couple blocks away and found two other female suspects on board that matched the clothing description given. Officers Chang and Park went to speak with the victim who said she was waiting for the bus at San Bruno and Arleta when she was suddenly attacked from behind.
The victim, an elderly woman, fell to the ground, where the three suspects continued to attack her. During the assault, they tried taking her purse, which the victim fought to retain. The suspect overpowered her and took the purse as well as the cell phone she had inside her jacket pocket. The victim sustained a large and visible bruising to her left cheek and temple. While the investigation was taking place, Officer Pereira located the victim’s wallet in a shoulder bag that one of the suspects was carrying.
All three suspects were then transported back to Ingleside Station and interrogated. As the investigation continued, It was determined that one of the three suspects involved was the primary individual in the assault and robbery of the victim. She was ultimately charged with robbery and booked. The remaining two subjects were released. Medics responded and treated the victim for her non life threatening injuries. Report Number 130012741. Because of the quick response and a coordinated effort from Ingleside units, three suspects are netted with the main suspect still holding the stolen property in her bag.   That is why this is***The Best Arrest of the Day***
