Arrests:
3:08am       Silver/Alemany             Battery
Officers Padilla and Seavey went to investigate a report of a battery that took place in the area of Alemany and Silver Avenue. When they arrived, they spoke with the victim, who happened to be a taxi cab driver. The victim said he had picked up a customer who was very intoxicated somewhere in the Richmond district. The suspect asked to be taken to his residence on the 200 block of Tingley Avenue. During the ride home, the victim said the suspect was giving him a hard time and at one point wanted to jump out of the taxi while it was still moving. The victim yelled at the suspect telling him to calm down. The suspect then threw a water bottle at the victim striking him in the face. The suspect then followed up by punching the victim 3 or 4 times in the face. The suspect then jumped out of the taxi at Alemany and Silver without even paying for his $30.00 dollar fare. Officer Padilla went to the suspect’s address and made contact with a roommate, who led him to the suspect’s room.  Officer Padilla made contact with the suspect and detained him. Officer Seavey and the victim went over to look at the suspect, who was identified as being the same individual who assaulted the driver and skipped out on the fare. The suspect was ultimately cited and released from the scene. The diver refused any medical treatment. Report Number 130003160. The officers followed the hot trail and were able to find and arrest the suspect, that is why … this is the
