Arrests:

1:38am       4500 Blk Mission                    Assault

Officers Lustenberger and Barajas were on routine patrol when they came across a large rowdy crowd of people outside of the 4500 block of Mission Street.  Believing a fight was occurring; the officers stopped and went to investigate. As they were approaching the crowd, they noticed a suspect conceal what appeared to be a knife in his back pocket. The officers confronted the suspect and recovered an ice pick from the suspect’s back pocket. A witness in the crowd told the officers that a possible victim was inside an establishment along this same block. Officers Lozano and McCall arrived to assist and went into the establishment. Once inside, they in fact located a victim who was involved in a physical altercation with the suspect and as a result was stabbed in the back. Medics were quickly called out to the scene and transported the victim to the local hospital. The suspect was transported and booked accordingly for an assault charge and carrying a concealed weapon. 8:18pm       3300 Blk Mission                   Robbery

Officers Barajas and Lustenberger along with multiple Ingleside units responded to the 3300 block of Mission Street regarding a robbery with a gun. When they arrived, they found the victim who said he was assaulted and robbed at gun point. The victim pointed to his injuries which appeared to be two broken lower teeth and bleeding around his mouth. The victim said he was walking through the Safeway parking lot when a car pulled up in front of him. A passenger got out and confronted the victim by pointing a gun at him and ordering him to get inside the car. The victim fearing for his life, complied and got into the backseat and was met with a second suspect who was also pointing a gun at him. The suspects were demanding his jewelry and money. The victim tried to calm the suspects down and asked them not to do anything to him, but was immediately hit in the mouth. Both suspects in the back seat then relieved the victim of his rings, bracelet and went through his pockets taking his money and cell phone. As one of the suspects got out of the car, the victim made his escape by running away. The vehicle then fled the scene. A witness later approached the victim and provided him with the license plate of the suspect vehicle.  Sgt Alvarez and Officer Johnson found out who owned the vehicle and obtained the address on file. They then went to the location and found the vehicle along with several people at the location. The officers took the victim who identified one of the individuals in the group as the driver of the suspect vehicle involved in the robbery. The suspect was arrested and booked for the robbery. 3:25am       Sunnydale/Santos                     Assault
Officer Apodaca was dispatched to the 1600 block of Sunnydale regarding a shooting. While en-route, dispatch advised him that a shooting victim had just arrived at San Francisco General Hospital emergency room. Officer Apodaca redirected his response to the hospital, while Officer Ferronato responded to Sunnydale Avenue in an attempt to locate a crime scene. Upon arrival, Officer Apodaca attempted to speak to the victim who was very uncooperative and only said he was shot in the leg. The victim’s friends said they received a call from him telling them he had been shot and needed to go to the hospital. His friends immediately went to pick him up and transported him to the hospital. Officer Ferronato searched the area and could not locate a crime scene or witnesses. Report Number 130051896.

8:43pm       400 Blk Andover                    Robbery
Officers Gomez and Lockett went to a call of a robbery on the 400 block of Andover Street. The victim said she had just stepped out of her home to smoke a cigarette in her front porch. She noticed four suspects walking down the street. As they got closer, one of the suspects approached her and pointed a gun at her and said, “Don’t move, don’t move, give me everything”. The victim said she put her hand up and handed over her Iphone. She told the suspect that the only other thing she had was a Bic lighter. The suspect asked if anyone was home and the victim told him that her family was home. The suspect then re-joined the other three suspects and ran away from the scene. The victim said she got a brief description of the one suspect with the gun. Report Number 130053842.
