Arrests:
5:14pm 1000 Blk Geneva Burglary
Officers Shugars and Paras were dispatched to the call of a suspect breaking into a vehicle. Several other Ingleside officers responded as back up. Officers Ocreto and Quintero detained a female close by who matched the description provided by dispatch.
Officers Shugars and Paras met with the witness/911 caller who told them that he had witnessed a female break the window of a vehicle and remove items from the car. The witness told them that he would be able to recognize the suspect if he saw her again. The witness was transported to the area where the suspect was detained and he positively identified her as the person who had committed the burglary. The suspect was taken into custody.
An arrest search of the suspect located a plastic baggy containing a white powder believed to be methamphetamine. She was booked into custody for the burglary and possession of narcotics.
The narcotics was hand delivered to the drop box at the Hall of Justice. Report Number: 130050531
Serious Incidents:
7:40pm Ney/Craut Robbery
Officers Lockett and Kerlegan were sent to assist the victim of a robbery. The victim advised that she was walking on Mission when she observed several males handing around the street corner. As she walked by, two suspects approached her from behind. One of the suspects covered her mouth and pointed a handgun at her chest area. The other suspect grabbed her purse and forcibly removed it from her person. Both suspects then fled the area. The victim said she was not injured and did not believe she could recognize the suspects again. Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects and additional witnesses.
