Arrests:
10:00PM Mission/San Juan Robbery
Officers Dominguez and Carrasco were on routine patrol when they were flagged down by the victim who claimed he was just robbed at gunpoint by a two suspects who stole his cell phone and wallet. The victim, who was not injured in the robbery, said he believed the suspects followed him after he exited a MUNI bus at Mission and Ocean Avenue. Officers Dominguez and Carrasco, along with other Ingleside units, searched the area for the suspects without success. Ingleside officers were later advised that other police officers from the Richmond district had detained three possible suspects at Lenox and Ulloa Streets near the entrance to the Twin Peaks Tunnel. Officers Dominguez and Carrasco transported the victim to West Portal were he positively identified one of the detainees as the suspect who robbed him earlier in the day. Police officers recovered the victim’s property and seized a gun they believed was used in the robbery. The suspect was charged with armed robbery. Report Number: 130042334
Serious Incidents:
10:30AM 200 Blk San Juan Robbery
Officers Baldovino and Chang were dispatched to the 200 block of San Juan on a report of a home invasion robbery. The two victims, standing in front of their home with the garage door open, claimed that two suspects ran into their open garage pointing a gun at them while demanding cash and property. The suspects then ordered both victims to lie down on the ground while they ransacked the home. One victim was injured after being pistol whipped by one of the suspects. Shots were also fired during the robbery during a struggle over the weapon. Fortunately, no one was hit by the gunfire. The suspects escaped in an unknown direction. Numerous Ingleside Units responded to the scene and searched the area without finding the suspects. One victim was treated for injuries at a local hospital. 6:50 PM 400 Blk Monterey Robbery
Officers Shugars and Paras responded to a report of a robbery near the Glen Park BART station. The victim told the officers that he was robbed of his keys, wallet, and cash, by two armed gunmen, while waiting in front of his girlfriend’s home on the 400 block of Monterey. After the robbery he took a MUNI bus to the Glen Park BART station and called police. The victim was not injured in the robbery. Report Number: 130041944
7:50PM Monterey/ Acadia Robbery
Officer Shugars and Paras were on routine patrol when they were dispatched to a robbery at Monterey and Acadia Sts. The victim told the officers she was walking down the street when a man approached her then hit her on the side of her head before grabbing her cell phone. The victim then told the officers that suspect then ran down the street before getting into a grey four door sedan. The victim refused medical attention and said she would recognize the suspect if she saw him again. Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspects without success.
