11:18am 2000 Blk Bayshore Unlicensed Driver
Officer Ng and Tillan, while on routine patrol, spotted a black Honda Civic that was showing as having been stolen. The officers stopped the vehicle and removed the driver placing him in handcuffs while the investigation was taking place. A computer check revealed the driver’s license had been suspended as of July of last year. It was also revealed that the Honda did in fact belong to the driver but was never removed from the data system. With his car safely parked at the curb, the driver was cited and released and the vehicle removed from the system as a stolen vehicle. Report Number: 130037658

3:30pm 400 Blk Geneva Robbery
Officer Morse responded to a report of a robbery at the Geneva BART station. The victim told Officer Morse that she was sitting at the MUNI bus stop when an unknown suspect ran up behind her and grabbed her cell phone. She briefly struggled with the suspect before he ran away down an adjacent path. The victim said she was uninjured in the attack and told Officer Morse that she would not be able to recognize the suspect if she saw him again. Report Number: 130038361
4:35PM 200 Blk Chenery Robbery
Officers Milton and Peregrina were dispatched to the 200 block of Randall Street to meet a citizen who said he was robbed while walking home on Chenery Street. According to the victim, shortly after he left the Glen Park BART station, he noticed the suspect following him on Chenery. Soon, thereafter, the suspect approached him saying “Stop, Let me have your money”. The victim, fearing for his life, emptied his pockets containing a money clip and a cell phone. The suspect took the money clip but left the cell phone before telling the victim to “get down on the ground and count to a hundred”. The suspect then ran away and the victim, who was not injured in the robbery, went home to call police. Numerous officers searched in vain for the suspect to no avail. The victim told police he would not recognize the suspect if he saw him again. Report Number:130039228
