10:05pm 1300 Blk Alemany Robbery
Officer Sutton was dispatched to the 1300 Block of Alemany Boulevard regarding a shooting involving two victims. Officer Sutton spoke to a family member, who was upstairs inside the home, and said that his father and grandmother had been shot by two unknown Black male adults. The victims only spoke Cantonese; Therefore Officer Ma arrived on scene to help in the translation. Officer Ma spoke to one of the victim’s , who stated that he and his mother were coming home from work and was parking his car in the garage, when two suspects approached on foot and confronted them inside. The two suspects said something in English, but the victim could not understand, and then pulled a gun and shot both victims while still inside of the garage. The suspects then fled running out of the garage. The victim, who was now bleeding from the gunshot, tried to close the garage door to prevent anything further from happening. A witness saw the two suspects coming out of the garage and ran towards a Silver vehicle that was waiting for them at the corner of Alemany and Tingly Street. The vehicle was last seen driving South on Alemany Boulevard. The two victims were rushed to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The suspects got away empty handed. CSI was then called out to the scene to collect any evidence left behind. The incident is still under investigation. Report Number 130034024.
