1:32pm Unit Blk Goldmine Firearm
Officers Obot and Johnson were assisting on a search warrant, when they observed a male exiting the building from the second floor holding a backpack. They detained the male and secured the backpack. A search of the backpack located a handgun and the male was taken into custody. A record search revealed the male to be on active probation and in violation of his probation by possessing a firearm. He was booked at the instruction of Sgt. Alvarez. The officers secured the firearm at Ingleside station where CSI would later take possession of it and advised the probation officer of the suspect’s arrest. Report Number 130027007

Officers Ocreto and Quintero were on patrol when they were flagged down by the victim of an assault. The victim told them that she was waiting in her vehicle to pick up a friend when a known female suspect approached the vehicle, opened the driver’s side door and repeatedly punched and kicked her. The victim attempted to defend herself and exited the vehicle when the victim fled the area. The victim refused medical assistance and had visible scratches to her face and head area. Officers took pictures of her injuries and searched the area unsuccessfully for the female suspect. Report Number 130027734
