Serious Incidents:
6:15pm San Jose/Geneva Robbery
Officers Kerlegan and Leong went to investigate a robbery that took place at San Jose and Geneva Avenue. They spoke with the victim who said he was walking Southbound on San Jose Avenue headed towards the Balboa Bart Station. As he was approaching Geneva Avenue, he noticed a mid 1990’s, four door sedan, White in Color, American type vehicle, possibly compact, pull over alongside him. The female passenger got out and approached him demanding his cell phone. The victim said he was scared that the female and the male suspect inside the car were going to cause him harm, so he gave up his cell phone. The victim then turned around and ran away in the opposite direction. The victim looked back and saw the vehicle fleeing the scene still headed in the Southbound Direction. The victim went home, called the police, and checked the tracking application on his phone, but found out that it had been turned off. The victim advised the officers that he would be able to identify the female suspect if he saw her again. Report Number 121044698.
8:00pm Arlington/Wilder Robbery
Officers Lustenberger and Barajas were dispatched to the 2800 block of Diamond Street on a call of a robbery. While en-route, the officers were advised the robbery actually took place in the area of Arlington and Wilder Street. They then met with the victim who said she was walking Eastbound on Arlington Street while talking on her Iphone. She was then approached from behind by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects put his right hand over her mouth, grabbed her Iphone, and pulled her to the ground. He then told his accomplice to grab the victim’s purse. The suspects then took off in an unknown direction taking with them her phone, purse, wallet, credit cards, personal checks and prescription medication. The victim said as she was getting up, she heard a car door shut, but did not see any vehicles fleeing the scene. Because it was dark, the victim did not see which direction the suspects fled. The officers searched the area to no avail. Report Number 121044933.
