Arrests:

 3:41pm      Unit Blk Mission Traffic Arrest
Officer Aslam was on duty working as a School Resource Officer conducting passing calls at Mission and Onondaga. While working, he saw a young man crossing the street into oncoming traffic. Officer Aslam asked the subject to step back onto the sidewalk, as he had not yet crossed The man refused! When the officer asked for identification, the suspect told him “I’m not giving you anything.” Upon hearing the answer, the officer tried to detain the suspect and write him a citation, but he was being uncooperative. The officer called for help and officer Preston responded and assisted in place handcuffs on the suspect. Report Number 120967902

Serious Incidents:

 9:00am      Unit Blk Velasco Robbery
Officers Giannini and Pereira were dispatched to a call regarding a robbery in the area of Velasco and Santos. They arrived at the scene and found the victim with a golf ball sized bump to the back of her head.t6he officers called an ambulance. The victim stated that she was waiting for the MUNI bus when she was approached from the rear by the suspect. The suspect grabbed the strap to the victim’s purse and attempted to take it from her. The suspect began to pull harder, but the victim did not let go of her purse, leading to the suspect pulling so hard that the victim fell back and hit the back of her head. There was a witness who saw the later part of the incident and was able to help the victim after she fell down. the suspect fled the area with nothing. A search of the area did not yield anything. 5:45pm       Unit Blk Cayuga          Robbery
Officers Paras and Shugars were on patrol when they were dispatched to a robbery attempt on Cayuga Avenue. Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim. The victim was a student coming home from practice when he saw two subjects walking towards him. When they reached him, they stopped and demanded “Gimme all your money”. The victim refused and one of the suspects with a closed fist struck the victim in the head twice, and kicked him in the stomach after he fell to the ground. The second suspect stood as a look out before they fled north on foot. The officers searched the area with negative results. The victim then was treated and released r, and then asked to look at a photographic line up. The victim was able to identify the suspect to hit him. Report Number 120968314

6:00pm       Unit Blk Cayuga Robbery
Officers Shugars and Paras were on patrol when they were dispatched to a call of a robbery. They met with one of the two vicitms. He stated that they were walking on the sidewalk when two unknown males confronted them with a knife saying “Give me your money and electronics”. The victim, scared, gave one of the suspects his phone and wallet. The friend, second victim, who thought that the two men were just joking, refused to give the suspects anything, was then held at knifepoint before giving him his belongings. The victim said that he did not know his friends address or phone number by heart. The officers searched the area with negative results. Report Number 120968499

6:45pm       Unit Blk Russia   Robbery
Officers Khan and Dilag responded to a call of a possible robbery. Upon arrival, they met with the victim, who said that he was walking home from his car when he was approached from two males from behind. He stated that the two men were Latino males wearing dark hooded sweatshirts. One of the suspects demanded that the victim hand over his belongings. The victim pulled out his items and handed them to the suspect before they ran across the street southbound towards Naples Street. The victim did not recognize the suspects and has never seen them before. The officers searched the surrounding area for possible suspects, witnesses, or evidence, with negative results.
