Serious Incidents:

10:30pm     200 Blk Athens             Robbery

Officer Hermosura and Ma were dispatched to a call regarding a robbery. Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim, who said as he was talking on his cell phone, he was surrounded by three unknown males. One of which grabbed the victim’s cell phone away from him. The suspect then said “Don’t move or I’m going to pop you!” Another suspect then pointed an unknown object to the back of the victims head. The victim believed the unknown object was a gun, but never saw it, as it was pressed up against the back of his head. The suspects then took his backpack and proceeded to go through his pockets taking his wallet, money, debit card and California I.D card. The suspects then fled the scene going south on Athens. The victim was not injured and said that he would be able to identify the suspects if he saw then again. Report Number 120999579

11:40pm     200 Blk Los Palmos      Theft

Officer Morse responded to the 200 block of Los Palmos Drive regarding a theft. When he arrived, he met with the victim, who stated he was sitting on his front porch with the security gate open. While smoking a cigarette and on his laptop, an unknown male approached him and asked for the time. The victim then turned slightly to grab his phone to check the time, when the suspect grabbed the laptop off his lap and took off running. The victim chased after him for a while and observed the suspect jump into the passenger seat of a vehicle with an awaiting driver and fled the scene. Several units searched the area for the suspects, vehicle and witnesses, but were met with negative results. Report Number 120997880
