1:45pm       850 Bryant                    Warrant
Officer Almaguer reviewed a Crime Alert Notification bulletin (Wanted Poster), which identified a suspect who was wanted in connection to a robbery. That day, while going to a mandatory meeting at the Hall of Justice, he observed the suspect enter the building through the metal detectors, where Almaguer immediately recognized the suspect, made contact with him, and after seeing identification placed him under arrest for the above mentioned robbery. The suspect was then booked at county jail. The officers did his ho,mework and remembered what this wanted felon looked like. Even though he was not in our district, he made a felony arrest on this wanted robber just in time for the Holidays!  Report Number 120933470. Today this is                                ***The Best Arrest of the Day***

6:57pm       1300 Blk Crescent         Parole Violation
Officers Hom and Almaguer were patrolling when they went to a lot where several documented stolen vehicles and suspicious people were supposed to be hanging out in the parking lot located on the 1300 block of Crescent Avenue.  They went towards the suspects and identified themselves as police officers and spoke with the subjects. One of the subjects was found to be on active Parole and missed an appointment with his Parole officer. Officer Almaguer spoke with the Parole agent who stated he was in the process of issuing a warrant for the suspects arrest because he had violated his parole. They arrested the suspect and booked him at County Jail. Report Number 120979430

11:32pm     Unit Blk Concord                   Resisting
Officers Dominguez and Carrasco responded to a call of a person ringing a door bell at a residence. Upon arrival they saw a subject walk away from the door and towards the officers. Officer Carrasco went to the door and spoke with the victim who said that she wanted this man, a former boyfriend, to get away from her.  The officers told the suspect to leave the area and should he return that he would be cited for trespassing.  The subject then looked at the victim, pointed at her, and mumbled something that neither of the officers could make out. The suspect got into a fighting stance before the officers approached him to escort him away from the premises, when he started becoming violent with the officers. The suspect then pushed one of the officers to the ground, causing the other to pull out his hand cuffs to place him under arrest, while shouting for him to put his hands behind his back. The suspect continued to resist arrest. After a struggle, they managed to cuff the suspect and booked him at County Jail.
