Serious Incidents:
5:23am Congdon/Silver Evading a Police Officer
Officers Padilla and Seavey were driving in a marked police vehicle, when they saw a known suspect that had evaded them just days before. As soon as the officers made eye contact with the suspect, the suspect made a quick right turn.
The officers then broadcasted the suspects’ information and vehicle information for other units that were in the area. The officers followed the suspect and put their sirens on to stop the vehicle. The suspect kept driving at the same speed and continued to ignore the officers’ sirens. The suspect failed to stop at a stop sign, and quickly made a right turn at the next corner trying to evade the officers yet again.
Unfortunately the officers lost sight of the vehicle and lost the suspect in the area. The officers deactivated their lights and sirens and searched the area with negative results. Report Number 120891464
8:59pm South Hill/Prague Robbery
Officer Leong and several other Ingleside officers were sent to assist the victim of a robbery. The victim informed the officers that she was walking on South Hill when she felt someone walking behind her. The victim was carrying her cell phone in her hand as one of the suspects attempted to snatch it from her. As the suspect hit the victims’ head with his elbow, the victim fell to the ground and both suspects’ grabbed the phone and ran away. The victim dropped her purse and the suspects returned, grabbed her purse and fled the scene. The victim said she did not get a good look at the suspects and could not identify them if she saw them again. Report Number 120893482
