1:45pm Mission/Persia Under the Influence
Officers Park and Chang responded to a call regarding the well being of a subject lying in the middle of the street. The officers approached the subject and could smell a heavy stench of alcohol on her breath. The suspect had red eyes and could not stand on her own. An ambulance was called to check on her well being and the officers were told by the paramedics that she was intoxicated and no medical problems. The suspect was transported to County Jail where she was arrested and booked for being under the influence in a public place. Report Number 120886051
8:20pm 4500 Blk Mission Battery
Officers Cassinelli, Tam, Morrow and Leong responded to a call regarding a possible assault. Two parties were involved in a minor car accident when the passenger of one vehicle approached the passenger of the second vehicle and slapped her face. The officers detained the suspect and tried to question her of what happened. The officers could smell that this woman had been drinking and appeared to not be normal. The suspect became increasingly belligerent and started yelling racial slurs at one of the officers. The officers asked the suspect to sign a citation for the battery and instead she threw the officers pen in the street then punched the officer in his eye. The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail for battery to the passenger, battery to the officer and for delaying a police Investigation. There were no injuries to the officer.
