12:28pm 2100 blk Geneva Warrant
Officer Hopkins and Uang were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle with expired registration tabs with two unknown males aboard. A computer check of the vehicle reveled that the registration expired last year as of 06/20/2011. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and approached with caution. Officer Hopkins asked the driver to provide his driver’s license, registration, and financial responsibility. Only providing his proof of registration, the officer ran a computer check on the driver which reveled he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver also had an outstanding warrant. A computer check of the passenger revealed negative results and he was released at the scene. Officer Hopkins asked the driver to step out of the vehicle and placed him under arrest for his traffic violations and the outstanding warrant. He was transported and booked at Ingleside Station. 5:00am Judson/Gennessee Robbery
Officers Gabriel and Apodaca were sent to investigate a robbery on the 600 block of Monterey Boulevard. They met with the victim who told them she started out the evening drinking at a bar located near the intersection of Mission and Precita Avenue. After the bar closed, she wandered towards the Mission District. Somewhere in the vicinity of Lexington and 21st Street, She came across a house party and encountered seven unknown suspects. The suspects happen to be leaving and were walking to their vehicle when one of the suspects engaged her in a conversation and offered her a ride. The victim accepted the ride. They took her to the area of Judson and Gennessee where one of the suspects took her phone. She tried to get her phone back, but another suspect punched her in the face and took her purse as well. All the suspects got back in the vehicle and fled the scene leaving the victim behind. The officers transported the victim to Ingleside Station and made transportation arrangements to take her back to her residence. Report number 120924786
