Arrests:

11:35pm     Mission/Avalon             Drunk Driving
Officers Lozano and McCall were received a call from dispatch regarding a drunk driver. The officers searched the area where it was reported seen. The officers located the vehicle and initiated a stop. The officers spoke to the driver and could smell that he had been drinking. As required by state law the officers asked the driver to submit to a sobriety test. The driver of the vehicle refused to submit to the field test and chose a blood test. The driver was arrested for suspected drunk driving and booked at the station. Theses officer did not stop searching until they were able to locate this potentially dangerous driver.   Report number 120779804. This is ***The Best Arrest of the Day***

Officer Peregoy prepared a report for a victim that responded to Ingleside Station. The victim told the officer that when she was in front of her door unlocking she felt something behind her. The victim turned and saw a suspect holding a gun in his hand pointed at the victim. The suspect made off with $115 in cash and the victims house keys. There were no injuries. 5:00am       Leland/Peabody           Agg. Assault
Officer Baldovino was sent to investigate an assault. The victim told the officer that while she was talking to a friend on the street corner. The victim told the officer that an unknown female suspect came up to her and started hitting her on the face with a stick. The victim said that she ran from the suspect but was getting hit along the way. the suspect then disappeared as quickly as she appeared.  The victim required nine stitches to her face under the eye. Te suspect got away.  Report number 120778191


8:30am       5400 Blk Mission          Agg. Assault
Officer Howard prepared an aggravated assault report. The victim was at Kaiser Hospital and told the officer that she was in line at McDonalds when an unknown suspect came up and punched her in the face. The punch cause a fracture, lose teeth and required stitches. The surveillance footage was ordered. Report number 120777927
