Arrests:
7:40pm       Phelan Loop                 Fireworks
SFCCPD Officer Edais was on patrol when he encountered a parked vehicle with its hazard lights flashing.  He stopped to do a check on the occupants of the vehicle and smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle admitted to smoking marijuana and produced a medical marijuana card.  While conducting a search of the vehicle, the officer spotted “mortars”, known to him as being illegal fireworks.  The suspect was cited and released at the scene.  The fireworks were released to the custody of the SFPD Bomb Squad unit. 9:30pm       4500 Blk Mission          Poss. Stolen Property
Officers Carrasco and Dominguez were on patrol when observed a suspect they knew was on probation along with another suspect known top the officers. The officers stopped to talk with the two suspects. The officer intended to exercise the search condition. The officers found numerous ID cards, ATM and licenses belonging to other people in the suspects’ pocket.  The officers then conducted a check on some of the names on the items and discovered that they had been reported stolen! The officers placed the suspect under arrest and booked at the station. Following protocol these officers were able to recover numerous stolen ID card and such, foiling this criminal the opportunity to spend someone else’s hard earned money! Report number 120785180l. 4:30pm        1800 blk Sunnydale     Burglary
Officers Duffin and Muro were sent to a burglary case. The victim told the officers that the home had suffered a fire and that he need to get out until the place was repaired. The landlord was supposed to board up the doors and windows. The victim told the officers that the family stayed at a hotel, and that the next day when they came home all their electrical appliances were missing. Report number   

6:15am       1700 blk Alemany        Theft
Officer prepared a report for this victim that had his cell phone stolen. The victim told the officers that while waiting for his friends to pick him up a car stopped in front of him and that “two very good looking female subjects” inside. The victim said that when the suspects asked him for help, he could not resist assisting the females with directions. The passenger suspect asked the victim if she could use his phone to call her friends that were waiting, because her phone had died.  The victim started dialing the number for the suspect, when all of the sudden the suspect grabbed the phone out of the victims hand and drove off. The victim was quoted saying “I can identify them two fine ladies” the loss was a $600 cell phone.  Report number 120782302
