Arrests:

3:20pm       500 blk Bayshore                    Drug Arrest
Officers Hurwitz and Johnson were on patrol when they observed a male suspect cross in the middle of the street in heavy traffic against the light.  They detained the suspect and asked him why he crossed the street there. The suspect had no reason. Spontaneously he told the officers he was in possession of methamphetamine and handed them a plastic baggie which he had in his right hand.  The officers placed him under arrest and transported him to Ingleside station.  The substance he handed them in the white plastic baggie was tested and came back positive for methamphetamine. The suspect was booked for the drugs at the station. Report number 120793713

Serious Incidents:

10:00pm      2900 blk Diamond                 Robbery
Officer Crispin responded to the 2900 block of Diamond Street on a robbery call. When he arrived, he met with the victim who was waiting for the bus at the bus stop. Moments later, a Honda Civic pulled up to the curb directly in front of her and the front passenger/suspect asked to use her cell phone to make a call. The victim herself dialed the phone number that was given by the suspect, but there was no answer. The suspect then asked the victim if she had dialed the correct number and asked to see the phone. While still holding onto the phone, the victim showed the suspect the phone. Suddenly, the suspect grabbed the phone out of the victim’s hands as the vehicle sped off. The victim was unable to hold onto the phone and fell to the ground, sustaining scrapes to her left elbow and knee. The victim’s eyeglasses also broke when she fell. Unfortunately, the victim was unable to obtain the vehicle’s license plate as it sped away. The officers attempted to track the phone but were unsuccessful. Report number 120794670
