Arrests:
1:07am 500 blk Arlington Burglary Arrest
Officers McMilton and Peregrina were dispatched on an assault and burglary that had just occurred. The officers arrived and spoke to the victim who told them that a known suspect had broken into her home and attacked her. The suspect had just fled when the officer arrived. The victim told the officers that the suspect may be hiding close by. The officers sprang into action and spread a dragnet in order to apprehend this dangerous suspect.
Numerous Ingleside Officer responded for backup. After securing a perimeter the officers learned that the suspect was hiding next door from a neighbor. The officers quickly surrounded the home and contacted the occupants. Eventually the officers made entry and searched for the suspect. The suspect was located inside the home along with another subject. The two men were detained.
The victim positively identified one of the men as the suspect by his face and the fact that he was still wearing the same clothing. It was later learned that the suspect found an open window and climbed in.
The quick response from Ingleside officers led to the arrest of a hot prowl burglar with positive identification. This suspect will spend this Halloween in an orange jumpsuit costume with numbers on the front and back at San Bruno Prison! Nice treat for the citizens in the Ingleside.

3:23pm 400 blk Cortland Fraud Arrest
Officer Altamirano was sent to investigate a fraud incident that was in progress at one of the local banks. The officer’s fast response yielded the suspect still at the scene. The officer located the suspect that was pointed out by the witness. The branch manager told the officer that the owner of the check that trying to be cashed was contacted and told the manager that they did not write the check and that another such incident had occurred recently. The officer asked the suspect about the check and was told that it was a deposit refund. When the owner of the check was notified again the officer was able to learn that this was indeed a fraud case. The suspect was arrested and booked for the fraud. Report number 120790521

5:45and 6:26pm Aggravated Assault
There were two separate incidents in the Ingleside district today. The first involved a suspect with a dog that was upset that the victim asked to leash the dog. The suspect threw a bottle of water and pulled a knife on the victim. There were no injuries.
The second incident was at a laundromat when a known suspect t came in and choked the victim. There were no injuries to the victim but wanted this documented.

7:05pm 100 blk Highland Exhibiting Weapon
Officer Hom was sent to investigate a suspect that brandished a gun at another. The victim told the officer that an unknown suspect approached him and became involved in a verbal argument. The victim was not sure why the victim wanted to argue, but became frightened when the suspect produced a gun and pointed it at him. The suspect then walked away. No one was injured in the incident. The victim told the officer that he could identify the suspect. Report number 1207991234
