Arrests:
7:11pm 1400 blk Felton Narcotics/Probation Violation
Officers Hurwitz and Johnson were conducting surveillance on an area where both officers have made previous arrests for drug related charges. During the patrol, they received an anonymous tip from a citizen informant that one of the nearby residents was conducting a narcotics transaction. The officers found the suspect’s car and successfully located the suspect nearby. After doing a computer check, they discovered that the suspect was on felony probation for previous firearm charges. As a part of his probation, the suspect had a search and seizure condition. The officers confronted the suspect inside a house and believed he may have had a firearm due to his previous convictions. They detained the suspect and conducted a pat down for firearms. They discovered several bags on him containing marijuana and methamphetamines. Due to the officers’ expertise and training, they were able to properly identify each drug. The suspect was booked at Ingleside Station for possession of illegal narcotics and for violating his probation. Report number 120628580
7:40pm Bayshore/Cortland Warrant Arrest
Sgt. Riskin was on patrol when he saw a person throw a brown paper bag out of his car. Riskin conducted a traffic stop of the suspect for littering. After running a computer check of the suspect, he found out that the suspect had an outstanding warrant for a DUI and his license had been suspended. The suspect was placed into custody and transported to Ingleside Station. The suspect was booked for the previous DUI warrant and cited for the littering violation. Report number 120628621
