Arrests:

1:34am       100 blk Milton              DUI/Traffic Violation
Officers McMilton and Peregrina responded to a traffic incident that involved a person under the influence. The suspect’s car was in the middle of the road and still running. Paramedics and Sergeants Turner and Daniels were already on the scene. The driver was heavily intoxicated and was unable to exit the vehicle without assistance from the sergeants. The paramedics provided aid and also checked the passenger that was in the vehicle. Both were determined intoxicated by paramedics and the officers who conducted standard SFPD DUI Field Coordination tests. The suspect was transported to the county jail and charged for driving under the influence and also impeding the flow of traffic. Report number 120658957

10:15pm     1500 blk Dolores           Restraining Order
Officers Hauscarriague, Hom, and Pederson responded to an incident regarding a violation to a restraining order. The victim told officers that the suspect was yelling obscenities in front of his home and that he has a restraining order against the suspect. The officers found the suspect and observed him staggering around the block. Officer Pederson confronted him and the suspect continued yelling obscenities about the victim. The suspect appeared to be intoxicated, and was unable to care for himself. The suspect was detained and transported to Ingleside Station. He was booked for violating the restraining order and for being intoxicated in public. Report number 120661370

4:30pm       3900 blk Mission           BB Gun
Officers Padilla, Seavey, and Johnson were patrolling in the area when they observed a man knocking on the door of a suspected gambling establishment. The officers have made previous arrests at that location and determined that the suspect may have been involved in other illegal activities related to that establishment. As the officers approached the suspect, he started to back away and tried to conceal his presence. The officers finally caught up to him and asked him to let them see his hands.  The suspect’s hands were shaking and the officers asked why. He told them that he had a BB gun in his jacket. The BB gun was seized and the suspect was cited and given a court date for the possession of the BB gun. Report number 120660485

12:08am     1 Sgt. John V. Young   Threats
A victim of criminal threats came in to report his case and Officer Contreras took the report. The victim stated that he has been receiving calls and texts from a drug dealer that wants to kill him. The suspect believes that the victim snitched on him and wants revenge. The victim believes the threats to be credible because the suspect has a criminal record for previous assaults. Officer Contreras advised the victim to obtain a restraining order. Report number 120658838

8:35am       27th/Guerrero                Theft
Officer Preston responded to a theft incident regarding a stolen box of stationery. The victim told Officer Preston she heard glass breaking outside and saw the suspect drive away in a vehicle. The suspect had shattered the rear window and took the box of stationery goods. The victim gave the description of the suspect and said she would be able to identify him. Report number 120659325

11:00am     800 blk Moscow            Attempted Robbery
Officers Larocca and Muro were dispatched to respond to an attempted robbery. The victim told officers that she was watching her son play soccer when an unknown suspect started to sit close to her. The victim was playing with her iPad and decided to put her iPad back in her car. From there, the suspect followed the victim back to her car. The suspect approached her from behind and told her to give her iPad, cell phone, and wallet to him. He then lifted his shirt, revealed he had a pistol and wanted her belongings. The victim kicked the suspect three times where the gun was located. After being kicked several times, the suspect panicked and fled the scene. The suspect was unsuccessful in the robbery and the victim provided the police with a detailed description of him. The victim was not hurt in anyway. Report number 120659604

2:00pm       200 blk Hanover           Fraudulent Trick
Police Services Aide Cato was on station duty when a victim of fraud came in to report their case. The victim told Cato that he was contacted by a company soliciting people to be secret shoppers. The victim responded to the company and they gave him a check in the amount of $1,928.75. He then deposited the check into his personal checking account. The company told the victim to wire two separate amounts of $1,000 and $600 to two different people. After he wired the money, his bank told him that the initial check was fraudulent and that he owed money for the two transactions. He stated he had no money in his account and was unable to pay back the wired funds. The bank is conducting its own investigation and advised the victim to obtain a police report. Officers Obot, Hart, and Johnson were dispatched to respond to an incident of vandalism. The victim told officers that someone was shooting at her kitchen window with a BB gun and caused a large crack. The officers searched the area and found the suspect. The suspect complied with officers and turned over the BB gun he used to crack the window. The victim and suspect met with one another and concluded that the suspect would pay for the damages. The suspect was warned of his actions and the BB gun was booked as evidence at Ingleside Station. Report number 120660231

7:00pm       400 blk Silver                Theft
Police Services Aide Cato was on station duty when a victim of theft came in to report her case. The victim left her car unlocked in front of her residence. When she returned to her car, she noticed that her driver’s license and coin purse were missing. The victim could not identify any suspects or witnesses. Report number 120661182

9:30pm       Unit blk Precita             Robbery
Officers Peregrina and Ma responded to a robbery incident regarding two unknown suspects. The two suspects entered the liquor store and one of them jumped over the counter. He then pushed down the victim and told her to open the safe. The victim screamed for help and then the suspect grabbed her hair and pushed her face against the counter. The suspect attempted to open the safe but wasn’t able to. He stole the victim’s purse containing $600 dollars, credit and debit cards, and her ID. The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored sedan. The victim cancelled her debit and credit cards. Nearby cameras were found by officers however all of them were non-functional.
