12:31pm     Unit blk Brookdale       Robbery
Officers Obot and Johnson were on patrol in the Sunnydale Housing Projects when they were dispatched to a robbery.  They met with the victim who told them that she was walking with a friend and talking on her cellular phone when she noticed a male approach her.  She grasped her cellular phone and began walking quicker when she fell to the ground.  The suspect grabbed her hand attempting to take the cell phone, but the victim held on to it tightly.  The suspect then punched her repeatedly until she let go of the cellular phone and ran towards Santos Street.  The victim complained of pain to her eye and an ambulance responded to the scene and treated her for her injury.  She said she would be able to identify the suspect if she saw him again.  Officers canvassed the area unsuccessfully for the suspect. 1:00pm       1100 blk Geneva           Counterfeit
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Heckenberg that he provided change to a walk in customer and when he went to deposit the money into his account was told the currency was counterfeit.  The suspect also offered the victim narcotics and a firearm to purchase.  The victim asked him to leave the premises.  He said the suspect frequents the area and he could identify him.  Report number 120650812

3:30pm       Unit blk Justin              Att. Robbery
Officers Walsh and Ocreto were sent to a possible robbery with a gun.  They met with the victim who was a Spanish speaker.  Officer Walsh conducted the interview and the victim told her that he was selling ice cream when a male approached him to purchase an ice cream.  The suspect then followed him into the park area, pointed a gun at him and told him to give him his money.  The victim ignored him and the suspect hit him on the side of the head with the gun and ran off.  The victim refused medical assistance and said he was not injured.  He said he could identify the suspect if he saw him again.

Another victim came forward and said she witnessed the incident.  When she heard the man call for help she looked toward him.  As the suspect ran away he also pointed the gun in her direction.  Report number 120561644

7:30pm       Amazon/Mission           Robbery
A victim came in to Ingleside station to report a robbery.  He told Officer Bosnich that he cashed a check at a check cashing business near Geneva and Mission and was walking on Mission.  He turned and walked right on Amazon when he noticed a vehicle following him.  He began to walk faster.  Three males exited the vehicle and began asking him for money.  He ignored them and they pushed him against a wall and began repeatedly hitting and kicking him while they emptied his pockets.  The victim fell to the ground and lost consciousness.  He said he only remembers waking up in the hospital after that and had no idea how he was taken to the hospital.  He said he could recognize the suspects if he saw them again.  Report number 120648265
