3:00pm 900 blk Ellsworth Battery/Threats
Officers Peregoy, Trail, and Hopkins responded to a battery incident in the area. The victim told officers that her neighbor slapped her across the face. After the initial slap, they got in a heated argument. The victim went to her aunt’s house and the aunt confronted the suspect. The suspect told the aunt that the day before, the victim got in an argument with one of his friends. The suspect made a threatening statement to shoot their house if they called police. The victim and her aunt requested that the police not make contact with the suspect in fear of retaliation. Report number 120639383
8:30pm 900 blk Ellsworth Vandalism
Officers Peregoy, Hopkins, and Trail responded to the area on a report of shots fired. The victim told officers that she was downstairs when she heard a loud crash and glass breaking from upstairs. She ran upstairs and saw her three children standing in the bedroom in front of the broken glass. The victim immediately called 911 and thought someone fired shots to her window. As the officers investigated the scene, Officer Peregoy located a rock that caused the shattering. Report number 120640120
