Arrests:

8:08pm       300 blk Silver                Warrant
Sergeant Riskin was on patrol when he was flagged down. The reportee told the Sergeant that a couple was having a verbal argument. Officer Hom was in the vicinity and responded as backup. When the officers arrived they made sure everyone was ok.  The female subject was recognized by Sergeant Riskin from an earlier call regarding the same matter. She was uncooperative and left the scene. The officers asked the suspect for his ID but gave them a name verbally. When the officers checked his name the physical description did not match. The officers then conducted a search of the male suspect and found an opium pipe, which led to a misdemeanor arrest. When the officers asked why there was a discrepancy between the name the suspect gave and himself, the suspect insisted he was who he said he was. During this conversation the officers noticed the suspect had a tattoo which matched that of a wanted felon. When the officers looked in the suspect’s back pocket they found his identification which had his real name, that of a wanted felon. Now the suspect who’d attracted police attention by yelling is spending his summer in jail. Maybe next time he won’t yell or carry an opium pipe while he’s wanted on a no bail drug warrant.  Report number 120562110 That is why this is the
