Arrests:

7:13pm                800 Blk Geneva Ave              Resisting
Officer Pereira was on patrol when he spotted a subject punch a window of a local business.  The officer got out of his vehicle and detained the suspect.  The officer explained to the suspect that he needed to determine if there was any damage to the window.  The suspect smelled of alcohol and was combative towards the officer.  The suspect cussed at the officer and refused to cooperate.  Officers Wilson and Aslam responded to assist.  The suspect continued to be uncooperative, but the three officers gained control and handcuffed him.  The suspect was transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.  Officer Pereira responded to the business and spoke to an employee.  They examined the window but did not find any significant damage.  The employee did not wish to press charges.  The suspect was cited for resisting and delaying an investigation, and was released from Ingleside station.  Report 120445710

8:23pm                1700 Blk Sunnydale Ave      Ammunition
Officers Seavey and Padilla were on patrol when they spotted a suspect known to them from prior police contact.  Officer Padilla had written a search warrant approved by a judge which allowed the officers to search this suspect’s residence.  The officers made contact with and detained the suspect.  Several other Ingleside officers responded as backup and assisted in the search warrant.  Officer Seavey recovered several boxes of ammunition in the suspect’s residence.  The suspect was arrested on two felony charges.  Report 120446053

4:12am                500 Blk Precita Ave              Burglary
Officers Anderson and Ferronato were dispatched to a report of an alarm.  Upon arrival, the officers noticed that the door to the business had been damaged.  They found the lock from the front door lying on the ground.  There was also damage to the door frame.  The officers searched the business for the suspect, but the building was empty.  The register from the counter had been stolen.  The manager of the business responded to the scene and showed the officers the surveillance video.  The officers were able to get a suspect description from the footage.  The manager informed the officers that there was no money in the cash register.  Report 120443651

8:08am                Alemany & Ellsworth St       Robbery
Officer Conceicao responded to a report of robbery.  The victim was walking when two suspects approached him.  One of the suspects stepped directly in front of the victim, causing him to have to stop walking.  The second suspect stood at the victim’s side.  The suspect asked the victim where he lived and then asked about his iPhone.  The suspect demanded the victim’s iPhone and money.  The suspect simulated having a gun through his jacket, pointing directly at the victim.  The suspect went through the victim’s pockets and fled with the victim’s cash and phone.  Report 120443833

Officer Walsh took a report of a broken window.  The witness told the officer that when she left the building, the window was in good condition.  Upon her return she discovered the window had been broken.  Report 120444386

12:32pm              100 Blk Athens St                   Battery
Officers Fung and Sugitan responded to a report of a fight.  The victim and suspect got into an argument over what to do with property that they co-own.  The victim was at the residence doing renovations when the suspect arrived.  The victim did not want to let the suspect into the house, and held the door partially open to speak with him.  The victim and suspect got into an argument, and the suspect pushed the door aside, knocking the victim against the wall.  The suspect walked around the house briefly, and then fled.  The victim was not injured.  Report 120444518

5:05pm                300 Blk Arleta Ave                 Personation
PSA Cato took a report from a victim regarding false personation.  The victim had received numerous calls regarding five different accounts that had been opened in her name.  The victim did not authorize any of the accounts, but there were several dollars in outstanding charges.  Report 120445287
