Arrests:

8:31pm       30th/Mission                   Possession Stolen Prop
Officers Hurwitz and Johnson were working undercover and on patrol when they noticed a male cyclist park his bike in front of a business. The officers decided to watch since we have had a large number of bicycle theft incidents in the district. The officers observed the owner go into a store and no sooner than he went in they observed a group of subjects walking by the bike. The officers observed the group stop and take a long look at the bike, so the officers moved to a closer vantage point. The officers then observed as two of the subjects move in closer, then one of them grabbed the bike and began to walk it away hurriedly from the area.
The officers immediately sprang into action trying to detain the subject before he got away. The subject was stopped and the officers asked for someone to contact the owner of the bike. Sgt Alvarez and officer Rueca responded. The officers ascertained that the, now suspect, male did not have permission to move the bike from the owner that was contacted. The suspect was arrested and taken to Ingleside Station. The suspect was then processed and will now have a date in Superior Court with the Judge.
Once again the officers at Ingleside Station take out another would be bike thief on a good spot! Report number 120466603. This is ***The Best Arrest of the Day***
