8:04am 100 Blk Blythdale Battery
Officer Conceicao and Park were dispatched to the call of a battery. They met with the reportee in front of the apartment who said that a male inside had battered her. She had no visible injury and refused medical assistance. Officers made contact with the male inside who said the woman had shown up unexpectedly and as he attempted to keep her out of the home she scratched his face. He had a visible scratch to his facial area but refused medical assistance. He wanted no further police action. At the instruction of Sgt. Miller, both parties were cited and released at the scene for the battery. Report Number 120180477

7:40am 200 Blk Nevada Burglary
Officers Fung and Suguitan responded to a burglary. They met with the victim who advised that she locked and secured her home and that when she returned she and her roommates found several items missing and the home in disarray. The officers noticed a window to one of the doors had been smashed and determined this to be the point of entry. The victims were unable to provide any further information and were provided with follow up information and an additional loss form. Because of the lack of physical evidence SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit did not respond.
The officers spoke with the original caller, a neighbor of the victims. He told them that he saw several males inside of the home that he did not recognize and therefore called the police. He provided the officers with a description of the suspects and the vehicle they left in. The officers were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle. They took pictures of the scene and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station. Report Number 120186936
11:50pm 1000 Blk Prague Harr. Phone Calls
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Officer Giannini that he hired a contractor to draft some plans and was unhappy with the services so he refused to pay him. Since then, the contractor has called his several times yelling obscenities and things of a threatening nature. The victim was unsure what the contractor might do and wanted the incident documented. 3:25pm Unit Blk Ocean Fraud
Officers Sugitan and Fung responded to a bank regarding a male attempting to cash a fraudulent check. They met with the reportee who stated that the male had become suspicious and left the bank. She told the officers that the male attempted to cash a check for a large amount. The bank called the company who the check belonged to and the representative advised that the check was fraudulent. The officers were provided with the evidence which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station. They provided the reportee with follow up information. The officers requested a copy of the video surveillance tape and were told it would be available at a later time. Report Number 120187138
