Arrests:

2:48pm       100 Blk Brazil               Narcotics
Officers Burke and Campos were sent to investigate a possible narcotics transaction out of a vehicle.  They arrived on scene and detained a male and two females who were sitting inside a vehicle which matched the description provided by dispatch.  The male occupant admitted he was on probation and the officers had him exit the vehicle.  A probation search located a plastic baggie in one of his pockets, containing a white crystallized substance believed to be methamphetamine.  Officers also located a small plastic cylinder containing a green leafy substance, believed to be marijuana.  The officers placed the suspect under arrest.  All occupants in the vehicle were transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.  The vehicle was legally parked. 

At Ingleside station, both women occupants were mirandized and did not wish to speak with the officers.  A search of their persons was negative.  Both women were provided with certificate of releases and released from Ingleside station.  The male was booked into custody for the narcotics.  The narcotics were hand carried to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice.  Report Number 120184184

5:27pm       4900 Blk Mission          Fraud
Officer Morrow responded to the call of a fraud.  He arrived on scene and spoke with the reportee who had a woman detained.  The reportee stated that the female was attempting to fill a prescription with a forged signature.  The reportee stated that the woman admitted she screwed up and shouldn’t have signed the doctor’s name.  The doctor was contacted and stated he did not know the woman and never provided a prescription for her.  The doctor faxed a copy of a note bearing his signature and it was confirmed the signatures did not match.  The suspect was taken into custody and booked for the fraud at the county jail.  The reportee was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 120184902

5:53pm       500 Blk Excelsior         Narcotics
Officers Hurwitz and Tam were on patrol when they recognized a known suspect who had outstanding warrants.  They had also been informed that the suspect was possibly selling methamphetamine.  The officers exited their vehicle and made contact with the suspect.  A record check revealed the outstanding warrants were active and he was placed under arrest.  An arrest search located a case containing several zip lock bags with a white crystal residue inside.  The officers believed the residue to be methamphetamine.  The officers located a large amount of cash and a digital scale.  A presumptive test was performed and the substance returned positive for methamphetamine.  The suspect was booked into custody for the narcotics and the warrants at the instruction of Sgt. 9:40am       Mission/Onondaga       Robbery
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Zabarte that she was on the MUNI bus holding her cellular phone when an unknown suspect grabbed the cellular phone from her, exited the rear of the bus and ran down Mission Street.  The victim informed the MUNI bus driver what had occurred and he requested she file a police report.  She told PSA Zabarte she would not be able to identify the suspect if she saw him again.  She was provided with follow up information.  PSA Zabarte contacted MUNI dispatch to order a copy of the video surveillance tape.  Report Number 120183211

10:30am     3300 Blk Mission          Fraud
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Officer Lee that she had received a notification from a department store that several charges had been made on her account.  She advised that she never received a credit card from their store and they requested that she file a police report.  She was provided with information on identify theft and given follow up information. 10:30am     100 Blk Ellsworth        Theft
Officers Thompson and Altamirano were on patrol when they were flagged down by the victim of a theft.  The victim told the officers that she was walking on Ellsworth when a male approached her and asked to use her cellular phone.  The victim dialed the phone number he was trying to call and when it went to voice mail handed the male the phone.  The male then ran down the street with cellular phone, boarded a truck and drove away.  The victim said she could recognize the suspect if she saw him again.  She was not injured and refused medical assistance.  The officers provided her with follow up information and searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect.  Report Number 120183653

2:30pm       Unit Blk Whitney        Theft
Officers Fung and Suguitan were dispatched to investigate a theft. They met with the victim who told them that she arrived home and set her purse on the front steps.  She went downstairs to the garage area to check some things and when she returned to the front steps her purse was gone.  She did not see anyone take the purse and was unable to provide the officers with further information.  She was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 120184275

2:30pm       Unit Blk Ocean           Threats
Officer Leong was sent to a threats call.  He met with the victim who told him that she was making a deposit when an unknown female walked up to her and said threatening things.  The suspect exited the premises and the victim followed her outside.  The victim attempted to board her daughter’s vehicle when she saw the suspect.  She told the suspect to stay away from her and the suspect told her she was going to follow her home and “finish this.”  The victim felt threatened by the suspect.  The suspect then left the area.  The victim said she does not know the suspect but could identify her if she saw her again.  She went back inside the bank and called the police.

Officer Leong provided her with follow up information and searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect.  He spoke with the manager of the premises and ordered a copy of the bank’s surveillance video.  Report Number 120184651

5:35pm       Sunnydale/Hahn          Robbery
Officers Dudley and Antonian were on patrol when they were flagged down by the victim of a robbery.  The victim was agitated and out of breath but was able to tell the officers that he had just been robbed at gunpoint. The officers broadcasted a description of the suspect and several Ingleside units responded to the area to assist in the search.  They placed the victim in their patrol vehicle and drove around the area in search of the suspect.  The victim told him that he was waiting at the bus stop when a male approached him, pointed a gun at him and told him to give him everything.  The suspect emptied the victim’s pockets taking various items and then ran off in an unknown direction.  The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance.  He was unsure if he could recognize the suspect if he saw him again.  The officers provided him with follow up information and their search of the area for the suspect was unsuccessful.  Report Number 120185552

11:00pm   Sanchez/27th St.            Robbery
Officers Dominguez and Carrasco responded to a robbery.  They met with the victim who stated he was walking on Church Street when he noticed a male looking into a parked vehicle.  The male asked him if he had a light and the victim said no.  The victim then noticed that the suspect had a gun in his right hand and pointed it at his abdomen and said, “What do you have for me then?”  The suspect reached into the victim’s pockets, removed a cellular phone and turned around and walked down Sanchez Street.  The victim does not know the suspect but believes he could identify him if he saw him again.  He was not injured and refused medical assistance.  He was provided with follow up information.  The officers dispatched a description of the suspect and various officers searched the area unsuccessfully for him.  Report Number 120185659

11:15pm     200 Blk Lowell            Robbery
Officers Ferronato and Anderson were dispatched to a robbery.  The victim was a Cantonese speaker and Sgt. Wong responded to the scene to assist with the translation.  The victim told them that he was walking on Lowell Street when he was approached by an unknown male who pointed a gun at him and told him to get on his knees.  The suspect told the victim to give him everything and the victim gave him everything he had on his person.  The suspect then told the victim to get up and walk away and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.  The victim said he could identify the suspect if he saw him again.  He was not injured and refused medical assistance.  He was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 120185706

11:58pm     600 Blk University      Att. Theft
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Officer Chew that he parked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found the lights were on and the passenger’s side door was open.  He also noticed damage to the door’s locking mechanism and that the ignition had been punched.  The victim did not bring the vehicle with him so Officer Chew was unable to take pictures or attempt to process the vehicle for fingerprint evidence.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 120183590
