11:00am 400 blk Edinburgh Battery
Officers Morrow and Bernard prepared a report regarding a battery. The victim told the officers that while getting into her car a known suspect came up to her and grabbed her coffee mug from her hands. The suspect then splashed the coffee onto the victim. The victim told the officers that she managed to get into her car when the suspect reached and grabbed her by the hair. The suspect then left.
Later in the day, the officers heard dispatch broadcast a call to the address where the battery had occurred. The officers responded and were able to locate the victim and the suspect. The suspect was arrested and then cited for the battery. The suspect must now appear in court to explain why she attacked the victim. Report number 120227217
11:17am Unit blk Rudden Burglary
Officers Frisk and Bernard were dispatched to a burglary incident. The officers arrived and spoke to the victim who was home. The victim told the officers that while he was home alone he heard someone knock on the front door. The victim did not answer the door a. after a minute or so, the victim heard pounding on the garage door this is when the victim called the police. The victim told the officers that the suspect entered the property via the side gate. The victim was able to see the suspects.
Numerous officers were in the area searching for the suspect when Sgt Karp located two possible suspects a few blocks away and detained them. The victim was shown the possible suspects that were detained and positively identified them. The suspects were then arrested and booked for the burglary. 12:09pm 1700 blk Sunnydale Warrant Arrest
Officers Trail, Peregoy and Hopkins were on patrol in the Sunnydale area, when they saw a subject they knew had an outstanding warrant for “Contempt of Court” the officers made quick work of it and had the suspect detained before he knew what happened. The suspect was arrested and booked for the no bail warrant at Ingleside Station. Report number 120226946
12:45pm 4600 blk Mission Theft
Officers Chew and Lim were sent to investigate a theft case that had just occurred. While on the way the officers were informed that then suspect was seen going into Walgreens. The officers arrived and were told by the victim that while he was doing some paperwork, the suspect entered the store and took a set of headphones and walked out of the store without paying for them. The victim followed the suspect and called the police. The victim positively identified the suspect to the officers. The suspect was arrested and booked at Ingleside Station. The headphones were recovered at the scene in the suspect’s jacket pocket! Report number 120227057
4:58pm 4700 blk Mission Warrant Arrest
Officers Chew and Lim were patrolling the district when they observed a car change lanes suddenly causing the car behind to brake hard. The Officers pulled the car over to issue a ticket. The driver of the car provided a NYC driver’s license to the officers and told them he’s been living in San Francisco for the last month and one half. (Upon moving to another state you must notify and obtain a license within a week). The driver did not notify DMV and on top of that, had a warrant for unsafe driving. The driver was arrested on the warrant and taken to Ingleside Station where he posted the $400 plus bail. The officers also cited the driver for the unsafe lane change. Report number 120228033

8:30am Unit blk Lippard Burglary
Officer Altamirano prepared a report regarding a burglary. The victim told the officer that she left the house at about 8:30am locking the doors and windows. The victim told the officer that when she returned she discovered that the gate had been forced open and the front door kicked in. the victim told the officer that a laptop and jewelry was taken. The officer observed that several rooms had been ransacked. The officer’s contacted CSI to respond and process the scene. Report number 120227546
9:00am Unit blk Virginia Attempted Burglary
Officer Lundy prepared a report for a burglary. The victim told the officer that he left home securing the front door and then the gate. When the victim returned he discovered that someone had cut a 4 inch hole in the fence. The victim also showed the officer where there was damage to the front door. There was no entry made into the house and no loss. Report number 120228550
7:00pm 200 blk Anderson Vandalism
Officer Castillo prepared a report regarding a vandalism incident. the victim told the officer that she is in the process of moving and that she had rented a trailer and put a lock on it. The trailer was empty. The victim told the officer that when she came out the next morning the lock had been cut off. Report number 120228447
8:30pm 1000 blk Girard Discharging Firearm
Officer Yuen prepared a report regarding a car being hit by a bullet. The victim told the officer that last night he heard 8 gunshots but did not want to check out of fear. When he checked on his car today he discovered that his car had been hit once. No suspects were seen. Report number 120228130
