Arrests:

6:00pm       800 Blk Moultrie St      Narcotics
Officer Hurwitz was working plainclothes in an area known for narcotic activity.  The officer spotted two suspects that she knows from prior police contact.  The suspects got into a vehicle and began to drive off.  The officer noticed that the lamp over the license plate was not lit, a violation of a vehicle code.  The officer notified dispatch and asked for a marked patrol unit to respond.  Officer Preston responded to the scene in a marked patrol car and located the vehicle in a parking lot.  The passenger suspect exited the vehicle, and Officer Hurwitz made contact with him.  Officer Preston made contact with the driver suspect.  A records check revealed that the driver suspect had a suspended driver’s license and he was on probation with a warrantless search condition.  After a probation search, the officers discovered that the driver suspect was in possession of narcotics.  The driver suspect was arrested and the passenger suspect was released.  Report 120104239

6:00am       Persia & Munich St      Vandalism
PSA Zabarte took a report regarding vandalism to a vehicle.  The victim parked his vehicle in good condition and left it unattended.  Upon his return, the victim discovered multiple scratches in the vehicle’s paint.  Report 120102766

12:00pm     300 Blk Moscow St        Fraud
Officer Goldsborough responded to a report of fraud.  The victim realized that her cell phone line, and three others that are attached to the same account, was not functioning for some reason.  The victim contacted her cell phone carrier.  The cell phone carrier told the victim that the lines were disconnected because they were all upgraded to new iPhones.  The victim told the cell phone carrier that she did not authorize an upgrade.  Report 120103902 

1:30pm       3100 Blk Mission St      Theft
PSA Cato took a report regarding theft.  The suspect is known to the victim and his family.  The suspect went to the victim’s family member’s home to visit.  The victim was present at the time, but then left for work.  The suspect remained at the residence.  When the victim returned home, he discovered his laptop and digital camera missing.  The victim’s family member told him she saw the suspect leave the residence with those items.  The victim contacted the suspect and asked for his items back otherwise he would call the police.  The suspect refused.  The victim later informed PSA Cato that he no longer wished for this matter to be pursued by the police.  Report 120103980

3:45pm       Unit Blk Phelan Ave     Theft
SFCCPD Officer Edais took a report regarding a theft.  The victim parked and secured his bicycle.  Upon his return, the victim discovered his bicycle was missing.  Report 120095105

5:30pm       5700 Blk Mission St      Theft
Officer Pedersen was dispatched to a report of theft.  The victim said that the suspect had been living with him, but moved out the day before.  The suspect took several items when she left that belonged to the victim.  Report 120102910

6:00pm       800 Blk Ocean Ave       Burglary
Officers Burke and Carrasco responded to a report of burglary.  Upon arrival, the officers saw that the victim’s front door had been severely damaged from a suspect forcing entry into the residence.  The victim showed the officers inside of the residence where several items were damaged and contents strewn about.  There were several personal items of the victim’s stolen.  Report 120104370
