7:20am Santos & Geneva Robbery
Sgt. Miller responded to a report of a robbery. The victim was waiting for a bus, texting on his iPhone. Two suspects approached. As they continued to walk by, one of the suspects grabbed the iPhone out of the victim’s hand. The victim struggled to hold on to his phone while the second suspect grabbed his bag from off of his shoulder. The first suspect then punched the victim in the head and the stomach, and threw him to the ground. The victim managed to hold on to his phone, and the suspects fled the scene. Report 120099743
8:00am 200 Blk Judson Ave Vandalism
Sgt. Miller was dispatched regarding a dispute. The suspect arrived at the victim’s home, but the victim told him to go away because he was unwanted there. The suspect did not respond, but as the victim closed the door, she heard glass break and realized that the suspect had broken a window of her residence. The suspect fled. The victim believes that the suspect might be mentally ill. Report 120099812
10:00am 200 Blk Chenery St Vandalism
Sgt. Miller responded to a report of a vandalism. The victim parked her vehicle, secured it left it unattended. When she returned, she discovered that two of her vehicle’s tires had been punctured. The victim said that there had been two other incidents where her vehicle was keyed. The victim believes she knows who has caused the damage, although she has never witnessed the suspect cause the damage. Report 120100146
10:45am 900 Blk Rockdale Dr Trespassing
Officer Pedersen was dispatched to a report of a trespasser. The victim and her husband left their home overnight. When they returned, they found muddy footprints across their stairwell and backyard deck. Several witnesses told her that there was a large group loitering in the area the night before. 3:00pm 100 Blk Blythdale Burglary
Officers Hart and Duffin responded to a report of a burglary. The victim left her residence after securing it. When she returned, she discovered that a suspect had broken one of the windows. The suspect exited the back door, as it was unlocked but closed. Report 120097935
3:57pm 200 Blk Lisbon St Fraud
Officer Goldsborough was dispatched to a report of a fraud. The victim discovered that an unknown suspect had opened a credit card in her name. The victim was not aware of this until she received a letter from a collections agency in regards to over three thousand dollars in charges. Report 120100895
7:25pm 700 Blk Ocean Ave Battery
Officers Pereira and Archilla responded to a report of a battery. The victims were walking to the Bart station when a suspect approached them. The suspect pushed both victim’s up against a fence and began to punch one of the victims repeatedly in the face. The suspect then punched the second victim. The suspect then warned the victim’s to “watch what they’re doing” and fled. Medics responded to treat both victims for their injuries. Report 120101172
